‘Connect 08′ - The Collection, Lincoln, England 25th April -29th May 2008
First response is the layout of gallery did not help either viewing of the canvasses ( no point where all 12 canvasses could be seen straight on) and music relationship to paintings… ‘conceit’ broken because record player too far away from paintings..disjointed. Also the over zealous ‘labelling’ broke the rhythm of the ‘counter-narrative’. C’est la vie….Ace 1 – SDB 0
